My journey began by helping friends and family build websites, where I quickly identified a gap in the market for transparency and client ownership. Since then, I’ve made it my mission to not only deliver engaging websites but also to ensure that every client fully understands and owns their digital presence.

As a Persistent Problem Solver, I pride myself on truly listening to my clients. I take the time to understand their unique challenges and collaborate with them to create tailored solutions that drive growth. Whether it’s designing an intuitive eCommerce platform, streamlining online sales processes for better customer experiences, or optimising website performance, my focus has always been on helping businesses thrive online.

With over 19 years of experience as a self-taught WordPress expert, I’ve honed my skills in breaking down complex systems and rebuilding them to work smarter and more efficiently. My expertise has been shared on platforms like WordCamp Belfast in 2016, where I presented “What Not to Do with WordPress?,” offering actionable insights to the web development community.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients—from medium-sized businesses to large organisations—helping them achieve measurable results. Notable collaborations include maintaining the legacy website for the European Endowment for Democracy, developing an interactive map-based website for Solidar, managing the European website for ASAP, and supporting Delap & Waller with their rebranding and website management over the past decade. I’ve also worked closely with UCD Estates to maintain their website infrastructure on AWS.

At Xava, I lead a dedicated team of developers who share my passion for solving customer challenges. Together, we specialise in creating user-friendly websites that not only look great but also drive business growth through strategic design and data-driven insights.

Outside of work, I recharge by spending time in Kerry with my wife, Denise. This balance keeps me inspired and ready to tackle new challenges with curiosity and determination.
